Above average. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of food here. It is usually not crowded and easy to get a table. I would recommend the lunch boxes to those looking to try a little bit of everything.
Much too good to be this (un)busy. I’ve been to this place a half dozen times in the last year, and I’m always surprised by the small crowd, especially since it’s owned by the same guy that owns Sushi Sam in Southlake and Lava Grill on 121/Glade in Colleyville, and those places are usually much busier..Despite the room being a former Burger King, they obviously put quite a bit of money into the remodel and it’s easily one of the most interesting and elegant sushi dining rooms around. We’ve found the sushi and drinks to be consistently top notch. Nice beer, wine and cold sake list. Great happy hours before and after prime dining hours, so it’s a perfect spot before or after a movie at Tinseltown. We’ve sampled some of the other Asian dishes ,i.e. not sushi, but not all. The tempura was good, pad thai was excellent. My teenage daughter had a chicken bento and was underwhelmed. My only complaint has been the music, which when we’ve been there is like what one expects to hear when getting a massage at the Zen spa, though the manager did change to something less somnolent when asked.
