Weve been here several times so Ive held off on posting anything in order to provide a fair review. Here goes:The chicken enchiladas are just fair. The cheese always seems to be a bit thin and not much chicken is used. In fact, the chicken tasted like shredded, canned chicken. For a Mexican food establishment, enchiladas should be a calling card. These were only passable. The nice surprise has always been the bean soupvery good all three times.I got the impression that the beer is used to offset some of the opinions of how basic and somewhat bland the food isalmost used as an inducement. That way when you leave, you can say well, we got a beer out of it.Not likely to return given that after three times I dont really see a stand-out reason to do so.

Everything here was essentially pre-canned. For the same price of what I paid here I could drive up the street to Baja’s Tex-Mex and get actual margaritas with a halfway decent food. The only part that actually went swimmingly was the hostess and busboy. They were efficient.

Great food, reasonable price. Great fajitas! Bean soup is to die for. Great service, not a ‘franchise’.

Great lunch spot, the owner is always out front to greet you.Long standing serving staff that is quick and attentive. Food is really good, fresh and tasty, lunch servings are priced as they should be, the bean soup is Devine!

Great service, great menu. Really enjoyed the free beer. The salsa is fresh. We would recommend the Steak Mexicana and the Spinach Chicken enchiladas.

Used To Ne My Favorite Mexican Restaurant. We moved to the area in 1997 and this was my fav place to eat. They have really declined in recent years. The service is still great but the food not so much. The salsa used to be really good and since they have changed that I will not be going back as often. Even though the food was not as good as it was I still continued to go back bc of the delicious salsa and great service. The tea is really good and providing a free small bowl of beans before your meal is served is very nice. Adding booths is really a bonus since they are more comfortable than chairs.
