Have been going to this branch from last couple of years. Had good food but average service. Had problems couple of times with the attitude of the managers. Even wrote a formal complaint letter and got response. Swore never to go to this particular outlet ever. But all that changed last night. They have changed their menu and made it more vegetarian friendly. Servers have been trained to be sensitive to veg needs. Zac was our server and not only was he good in service but he also gave his own personal tweaks to the dishes by taking into account what we would like. The manager (sorry dude but cannot recollect your name but whoever was the manager as on 8-17-13) rocks! He was very helpful and caring throughout. Got us hot water to heat the milk of infant in our group. Now the main part – Food! It was rocking great. Crispy fried beans were well done as requested and super awesome. Now they can make Wok Classics in non meat way too (veggies or tofu as you wish) got the Kung Pau and it didnt disappoint. Lettuce wrapps and fried rice always are great.Over all, very satisfied with food and service. If anyone had bad experience before, would recommend giving them one more chance. Hey after all I went to the extent of writing a formal complaint letter earlier!
We were here last night to celebrate my mother-in-law’s birthday. We like to go to PF Changs because it is very easy to make an online reservation and their menu is vegetarian friendly which is very rare in Dallas.The food and service was great as usual. We enjoyed everything we ordered. Their coconut cooler deserves a special mention, it is very refreshing. They used to have salted caramel cake which was very delicious but sadly it is no longer on their dessert menu. I haven’t tried anything else on from their dessert menu as it doesn’t seem very appealing. That’s something they can work on and improve.I think the average cost for 2 is at least $50 with drinks and 2 entrees but their entree portion size it huge so it can be eaten twice or shared 🙂 I definitely recommend PF Changs if you aren’t already a fan.
Great food & service!. P F Chang’s is one of our favorites. This location did not disappoint. Great service & food. We did make a reservation and waited less than 5 minutes for our table to be ready. Others without reservations had an hour wait ahead of them. So glad they have the option to make reservations!!
Is It Safe?. Yes, yes it is. Nothing to get excited about. The Hunan Style Alaskan Cod is the least Hunaniist-style food I’ve ever had. There was no heat at all. It was delicious but I don’t know why they had a little picture of a fire next to the entree on the menu, because it was not spicy. Maybe it was actually cooked on an open fire, huh? My friends had two other dishes. One had the Korean BBQ Chicken Stir Fry. This was pretty good. It had a good barbecue flavor and had a nice mix of vegetables. Not a traditional entree, and only part of their summer menu, so if this sounds good to you, get it while it’s hot–er, not spicy, I mean. My other friend had a non-traditional walnut shrimp entree with melonballs. Other than the addition of melonballs, this was a lot like the walnut shrimp I’ve had at many other Asian restaurants in the Fort Worth area. The melonballs were different, but I don’t think I’m really crazy about this spin of the dish. It was passable. It was mild. We started off with the very popular Chicken Lettuce Wraps. I thought these were very good and I could have made a meal just off of those. These were also, not surprisingly, mild in flavor. This restaurant is for those who want good-looking food without having to worry if it is going to have any spiciness at all. If this is you, you’re in luck. You are gonna love P. F. Changs. You can also stop at Albertson’s and pick up some P.F.C entrees on the way home. It’s in the freezer case. Or ask your grocer…But before you think I am completely slamming them, I’m not. The presentation of the food was great and that is a plus. I just like my spicy food to have a little kick. They did bring some sauces and and the server was going through his spiel while he was mixing some sauces together. You know what? Just put some spice in the food to begin with.Other than that our server Jose, was on top of his game making sure our table was happy. The place was packed for a Friday night with a lot of families with lots of kids. The acoustics were very good too. With the number of people there, it was not overly noisy.To sum up, I can see the interest in P.F. Chang’s. It is a very safe restaurant. Nothing is left to chance. Food is delicious-looking, probably healthy (and in some cases gluten-free if you order one of those entrees). I would eat here again if prompted, but for me alone, I wouldn’t suggest it.
Always consistent great fried rice
Awesome Service. I have been to the Highlands, North Park, and as far as service this is it for me. If I was in the mood for fried rice i would head out to the North Park location. Lo mein Grapevine location. I am not sure what exactly it is about arlington, but i would rather drive through traffic and construction to the Grapevine location instead.
Outstanding Service and Food. Each course arrived right on time. Staff was very knowledgeable about menu and prepared sauces and Mu Shu pancakes table side perfectly.
