Upon a recommendation, I went here to kill some time at the airport. The brisket burger was a tad salty but overall really good. That’s what I always get here when I’m around now. The sides are okay but really, just get the brisket. It’s probably the best around in the airport.
I work at the DFW airport and this is the 2nd time I have tried this place. The first time I thought I caught them on a bad day and the meat was greasy and tasted like it had been sitting there all day staying warm on the line. Well I guess I caught them on a bad day again. The place smells great but I don’t think the food being served is as good quality as the smell. I can say I am not going to try it again.
Worst BBQ I’ve ever had. I got the pulled pork sandwich, which looked like it was pre-chewed for me. Sauce tasted like a mixture of vinegar and dirt. Coleslaw was basically a pile of cabbage covered in mayo. Save yourself and go eat somewhere else in the terminal.
A good selection of Que. Face it, you don’t go to DFW for the purpose of eating. BBQ, or otherwise. But when stuck in an airport there are worse places to eat than here. Sandwiches come in two sizes, or you can opt for either the two or three meat plates, with a choice of two sides. It isn’t half bad.
