Very expensive for mediocre food. My kid loved the place just for the ambience. They could have included some different good quality food items to attract people.

Positive or negative, low or higher score, most every review here can be summed up: bad overpriced food, but the kids loved it. The concept of a kids place that the grown ups arent stuck eating pizza or burgers is great, Rainforest execution however is not. First a place admittedly aimed at kids shouldnt need a bar; I sure dont want my kids thinking that alcohol looks cool or fun in neat glasses with little umbrellas in it. Secondly, a restaurant should put its food quality first, that is what a restaurant does. Id rather have a good burger than a bad steak any day! If you just have to take the kids avoid the higher priced items, they will just disappoint. Better yet just do dessert, if your kids are impressed with the place the volcano dessert will wow them. Honestly my kids had a better time at the Fort Worth zoo. They learned about a real rainforest, got a bit of exercise and then we dinned at a good restaurant where they learned more about local food and culture. (they don’t lack for fun by the way!)

The food is lousy and way overpriced. The ambience is old and outdated. Do not waste your money there.

It’s a Joke!. The good thing for the Rainforest Cafe is that it is small children who love coming here. Nobody with a decent guide for quality should admit this place is any good. Service is terrible and the food no better. We had the wrong orders brought to us twice… drinks and food. When our own food actually arrived, it had been almost an hour. Location is a Discount Mall so expectations are low to begin with and make no improvement based on the experience.

Mediocre food at astronomical prices with slow service. Good for children, I suppose, but otherwise, I’d give it a pass.

The kids loved it but…. …we didn’t. Expensive, noisy, food was mediocre at very best, service was unacceptably slow.Friendly folks, but just nothing else good to make us ever come back.Lots of fun for kids, but not their parents or childless adults.

Experience, Not the Food. Whenever you are going to any Rainforest Cafe, you are going for the experience and not the food. I tell myself that every time, but still I always tend to forget how terrible the food and service really are at Rainforest Cafe. The decor is great, kids absolutely love the animals, but they really need to do something about the food, especially when they are charging so much for it. Not a place I recommend, unless you are really not hungry and just want your kids to have a little fun.
