  We love this place! We’re there for dinner at least once a month and often, more like 3 or 4 times a month.I’ve had my wife’s birthday party there and had them cater one at the house, too. All I can say about them is WoW… what a great job! Rachel, the manager is so sweet and took total care of us! Did I mention we really love this place?We just had a second birthday party catered by Rachel and Rio Mambo… and again WoW! The beef fajitas were a rave and gone quickly. We’ve even had some of the guests already inquire about having Rachel come to do an event for them!Everything we needed was provided, Beef and Chicken, Tortillas, Rice, Queso, Guacamole, Chips under a hot lamp, and even tables and tablecloths. The restaurant is awesome… the catering, maybe better!29 Jan, 2010A Favorite Restaurant. My wife and I both love Rio Mambo… close to home, but the food is great and the service is really good. Very tasty true mexican style dishes and generous portions, all the fish varieties are superb, but you can’t go wrong with any menu item (I’ve tried most of them). Try the Queso to start.The management staff is very friendly and accommodating, but be prepared to wait a few minutes on a weekend night… I’d recommend the bar area, although it can get too smokey. They serve a frozen drink called a Stone Dyer that I really like. The Margarita’s are excellent as well! We’ll likely be there this weekend!29 Mar, 2009Great Food, Good Service. We like this place a lot, it’s been above average every time we’ve been… which has been many times. The managers and staff are friendly and fast. The seafood and chicken dishes are some of the best anywhere, especially for Mexican restaurants. Their Stone Dwyer is my favorite frozen drink. We’ll keep going back.

  Rio Mambo. I don’t know why I don’t like this place. Everyone seems to take a liking to it. I tried the fajitas and they tasted more like over cooked rubber on a frozen tortilla, and the tortilla soup tasted like chlorine? Am I missing something at this place? I’ve tried it like 8 times and always get the same disappointing result.

  Great fajitas. My boyfriend and I go to Rio Mambo whenever we want Mexican food. It’s very close to where we live and the food is great! We usually split the combo fajitas. YUM! We normally sit in the bar – it has a great atmosphere.
