The food was good, but the restaurant was filthy. I have a video but it won’t let me post here. I wonder ..if they don’t care about the parts customers can see what does it look like where they cook. 75% of the tables hadn’t been touched piled high with dirty dishes and bus tubs. That was pretty much all we had to look at for more than 30 minutes they just walked past them. Sad what one badly managed restaurant can do to an entire chains reputation.
I’m purely basing this rating on how awful the service was. The food here is always good and consistent. We waited to get seated for 10 minutes with one couple in front of us. We got seated and it was another 20 minutes before anyone took our drink order at which time, we also placed our food order. Finally after waiting for 50 minutes our food arrived. To be fair the manager said they had trouble keeping employees at this particular location.
Good food, good service. It was late and close to hotel. Or I’d go somewhere else. Pricy for the portions.
Poor first time.. We went to the one on Lamar street and it took a long time to get seated.Once we got seated the lady took our order and brought us our water and shakes but no food.My wife got her salad half an hour later and that was it.It looked like our food was sitting there on the counter ready to come over.What were they waiting for ,christmas?So we got sick of waiting and left.The Mgr on duty told me our order got bumped off by their computer.What a terrible waste of my time.
Talk about SLOW!!! I pulled into the parking lot and there was one single red car at the drive-thru window. I placed my order for a shake. I come around the building and that same red car is still waiting on its order. I sit there over 5 minutes and that same red car is still waiting for its food. Seriously, I don’t care if their billboards say it is worth the wait because no fast food order should take more than 5 minutes. I left without getting my shake. I called the manager to complain about the ridiculously slow service and he wanted to buy me a shake. Ahhh, how nice…too bad I was already getting my shake from Whataburger across the street. I left Whataburger with my shake and that red car was still waiting. This place gets a fat zero for service. Get ready to WAIT!
Steak n shake. The cheese fries are great! So is the club sandwich and grilled cheese! I would eat here everyday if I could.
The Grapevine location got us seatted quickly and the menu looked good BUT 20 minutes went by and no one came to take an order or even greet our party of five people. So we just left…
