Poor Service. First person to help us when we walk up listens to us mention we want to sit in the patio. He says okay while he walks off and finds a girl who is about to walk us to our table. She takes us directly to an area near the back of restaurant. Clearly not what we requested. I tell her what we asked for and she tells me rudely that the patio is full. There were hardly anyone out there. She helps us the next ten minutes to get high chairs set up and all the time was rude. Luckily a nice girl took over shortly after.
I spent the other day at the gaylord texan hotel to watch my Bruins playoff game. Wow, you other people must’ve just had bad luck with servers. Our service was outstanding, we sat at the bar and the bartender was from Boston too! My bruins ended up losing that game but our bartender,( i think his name was Mark) had us laughing on our way out. Great Kobe Burger!
We ordered 3 meat plate and 2 of the 3 meats were very dry. Not a good representation of Texas BBQ. Visitors should try someplace else instead of this overpriced restaurant.
Ok at best. We had friends in town from Houston and St.Cloud Minnesota during the Daytona500 weekend and wanted to watch the Saturday race on the big screen. WoW, what a big screen! We took a buzzer from the front desk, only to find out later we didn’t need it for the front area. Instead, we had to stalk a table! Finally got a table just before the race started, but it took a while to get the attention of a server. He was slow the whole time we were there, good thing someone else brings the food out!. Wife requested a cold mug and he never did bring it, we retrieved one from the bar instead. Had to ask three times about putting race on a bigger ecreen, they finaly acommodated. The food was actually pretty good. I had the brisket with cole slaw and the wife had a burger. The beer was not very cold. Unless we had a reason to go there like watching a race, we wouldn’t… there’s simply no reason to go just for dinner.
A 30 minute wait takes about 90 minutes. The problem is that the service slows down from there. I would not wish my experience on my worst enemy. Stay Away!!!
The food was very good, the service clueless. Beer arrived in a bottle that was open, but clearly not full. Pointed that out to the waiter; he shrugged and walked off. Asked for a glass, no dice–had to fetch one from the bar myself. The Chili Pie (pix posted) was excellent, wife’s loaded BBQ baked potato was very good, the BBQ beef tender and tasty.
Nice Place….Slooooow Service. Very nice sports bar and they hit ya with the wow factor. After that, it is all down hill. Lot’s of staff walking around, bumping into one another, but no workers! Management seems to be just as bad in looking busy and doing nothing. As we waited and waited to be helped, we enjoyed the entertainment the staff provided. It was better than the 3 games on the big screen. This place must be getting some stimulus money from the Prez…..Lot’s of waisted motion and no results.
