This is the deli you’ve always wanted. The sandwiches are incredible and ample portions. The meats and veggies are high quality. The bread is fresh. They have solid side items like macaroni salad and potato salad to go along with chips.Lunch time serves up a large crowd, sometimes (usually) leading to a lack of seating room. Everyone knows where to be for lunch. If you haven’t been here, get here.

During our day in the Christmas Capital of Texas, we stopped for lunch at highly rated Weinbergers Deli!Om: This deli is the real deal! I have never been to Chicago before, nor been to an authentic Chicago deli, so I was curious to see how this ended up. I went with the Classic Italian Sub, playing it safe for my first time!Service Meets Expectations Nothing bad, nothing special, it was service that you may see at a Jimmy Johns, Jersey Mikes, or the like. I customized my sandwich a bit and they did not make a mistake in my order. I noticed that they put the bag of chips right on Noms chili dog, probably not a good idea, but minor inconvenience.Ambiance Meets Expectations Definitely has, what I would imagine to be a Chicago-type feel, complete with cramped seating inside and appropriate dcor on the walls. Enjoyed reading and looking at all the specialty sandwiches that were created and eaten by the well-known people (stars?) that have eaten there.Food Meets Expectations My sandwich was good and far superior to your typical fast-food sandwich place, but I cant say it was the best that Ive had. The deli meat was fresh, same with all the fixings, but it was just missing something. Maybe a bit more meat would have been nice? Still a nice spicy Italian taste. I was pleasantly surprised by the macaroni salad, might be the best that Ive had, and Im not a huge macaroni salad guy. I had a bite of Noms chili dog and I would definitely give that a shot next time we come back.Value Meets Expectations A nice sized chili dog, a delicious sandwich, and macaroni salad for about $18? Thats pretty dang good value, and would have exceeded expectations if my sandwich were just a tad better! Certainly a fair value for the quality of food and unique atmosphere.Overall Ok, dont get me wrong, I loved trying somewhere new with my wonderful beautiful Nom, and all the food was good! And I would love to go back and try something else! Was it fitting of one of the top 15 places to eat in Grapevine though? I dont think so for that to be the case, with me, there had to be a food item that I craved, something I couldnt wait to eat again, and there was nothing that stood out. I would definitely recommend giving this place a try though!Nom: I think I enjoyed this place more than my handsome love. But I had the best chili dog Ive ever had from this place. The kind of dog you think about and your mouth waters. But first the place itself. Small as you might expect, this is no Jasons Deli. Crowded, check and the fact the dog was good was the override to my dislike for crowds. We found a table so I sat and held it while my handsome love ordered and paid for our lunch, thats how busy it was. My dog came with an order of chips firmly dropped on in the middle so it was covered in cheesy chili. Not the greatest thing ever, but not a tragedy either. But the dogif you like a chili dog and youre down in Grapevine you must stop and try their chili dog. Delicious hot dog on a steamed bun with just the right amount of chili to render it only edible with a fork and knife. Perfect amount of onion and cheese so yeah, my favorite deli so far and thats based strictly on the dog. I hope my handsome love and I make our way back there for another trip down the ordering line!

These are the best sandwiches in the metroplex. I am not kidding. Wide variety in the menu. Take a chance and you will be happy. I love the Totally Wicked. The Rueben, Dagwood, meatball, hotdogs, and nearly everything else is excellent. Family owned. Eat for lunch walk around Grapevine and walk back I. To get more.

Great sandwiches, no matter what you choose! I’ve been on several occasions and haven’t had a bad meal yet. My favorites are: the Meatloaf 2.0, which includes a nice mix of Onions, Pickles and Peppers on an Everything Bun and a tasty while firm thick slice of Meatloaf, and the Totally Wicked which is tender Roast Beef, Horseradish, Mayo, Red Onions and Thin Sliced Dill Pickle. I like to also add some Spicy Brown Mustard that they provide at the tables. My friends tell me of several other Sandwiches that are also awesome, but the ones I’ve had are so good, it’s tough to want something else. diningoutdfw.com

Absolutely the best sandwich my family and I have had since moving to Texas back in 2001. We had heard about the shop on Pugs and Kellies’s radio show but since we live in McKinney never got up to Grapevine. Well we were in the area and my wife suggested we go and try Weinberger’s out. This was the best lunch experience I have had in years! We got a meatball sub, Italian combo, cheese steak, and a Italian beef and P&K special to take home. The bread was fresh and delicious, the meat on each of the sandwiches was high quality and each sandwich was made how they should be made, perfect. I spoke to the Owner who was extremely nice as was the rest of his staff. I would suggest Weinberger’s to anyone visiting the Dallas Fort Worth area. I know my family will be back over and over again.

Bad Sandwiches!!!. I ordered 2 cheese steak sandwiches at the Grapevine, Texas location on Main Street! The worst sandwich ever! The beef tasted like freezer burn! That just told me their kitchen is dirty and they do not inspect their meat!! Imagine if Gordon Ramsey stopped by, he would have shut it down!! Would never order from Weinberger’s again!

Good local. On vacation. Never go to any restaurant that I can go to when I am home. This place was what my son wanted for dinner, hot dogs. So, we went here. Something for everyone. The Italian beef was great. Nice location and the statues outside are fun to look at.
