In the summer days it’s hot, but that’s expected with a hibachi style restaraunt in the middle of a Texas summer. Foods great and customer service is amazing. As with any old building it could always use some TLC. but I will for sure be goig back and continue to go back until I die. I can tell that the staff there now is willin to out effort towards the bettering of te restaraunt.
What a joke!. I’ve never written a review before but I had to. I normally go to Shogun’s or Kobee’s but me and some friends thought we would try Matsu. First off the little driveway to get in is literally falling apart. We get inside and it is at least 90 degrees. At 8pm it seemed hotter inside then out. The place is REALLY run down and has obviously not been touched since it was Shogun’s years ago.We are seated fairly fast and asked about the AC. We were told it was just not keeping up (the truth is it wasnt working at all). The few people that were eating looked MISERABLE! The waiter came over and his shirt and hair were soaked with sweat. After discussing how much hotter it was going to get once the grill started going we got up and left. We did not eat so I cant comment on the food but who wants to spend their Friday night inside a sauna sweating over your meal. They need to close this place and spend some money to fix it.
Well besides the smell and how the building looked I have been goin there for about two years off and on and the service was horrible to many cheifs not enough indians …..and I loved goin there …..there was a waitress about a year ago who catered to me like I was there number one customer but soebody said she quit….needs to come back and teach the others how to be more professtional……
Needs a facelift. I guess the food was okay, service was good. The fact that it’s old and needs remodeling really makes the experience turn around to the bad side. I would rather go somewhere else.
Food was great just like shogun or kobee but wow needs to be cleaned, and fixed up badly, what happened? Bathroom were horrible
Delicious. I think this place is amazing!!! it has wonderful food great staff and good prices…the only downside to this place is the building, but it wont keep me from keep on goin back!!!
They are cheaper than shogun by about 6 bucks a plate, but it is not worth it. The portions are small, there aren’t any mixed drinks, the building is in serious need of some TLC, like there is wallpaper peeling down all over and there are layers if goo on the vents, and it really makes my question the cleanliness of the food storage areas. And when you walk in, it smells like old dead people right at the front. I will never eat there again!
