Not Quite The Treat It Was. When I did my last review in 2010. The remodeling looked good and the food was still very good, but the portions have gone down and the prices have gone way up. I went with my Mom and my sister today. The salads came out and were good, but then their food came and mine was no where to be found and my sister’s order of stuffed mushrooms didn’t make the trip to our table. Finally the waitress said she messed up the order and cancelled the first order and when she reinput the order she messed up. By the time they were half finished, my food made it to the table, but the fish portion was only lukewarm at best. The mushrooms finally made it to our table. We finished and got our check, but it was the wrong one and the man across from us was having a heart-attack because he got our bill which was much higher than his own. Finally I got the waitress to come over and told her about the error. She got us the correct bill and we paid it and I still gave her a decent tip because anyone can have a bad day, but her day was on a downhill slide. I can live with bad service from time to time, but not small portions for such high prices.Today I could only give it 2 1/2 stars out of 5 and can honestly say, it will a very long time before I go back. I would rather drive to Dallas and eat at Joe’s Crab Shack.17 Jul, 2010Always a Treat!. Everytime I eat here, it is a treat for me. The food is always good, the service is great, so I ignore the high prices. Could use a bit more parking, but we can get there earlier, so head on out and enjoy.
Brian is the best waiter in Red Lobster. Tell the host to seat you at his table and make sure tip BIG!!!!!! He deserves it. 🙂
Wow, we were pleasantly surprised by how RL has stepped it up a notch! The service was excellent at the bar & table; food came fast & everything was exactly how we ordered. The rock lobster tail, NY strip, coconut shrimp, crab legs, sea scallops, and shrimp scampi were all EXCELLENT! We will be returning- and I had zero expectations going in there, as my boyfriend had been craving steak & lobster for a while & RL was only place in Longview to offer it.
Rotten shrimp!. Twice my wife as been served not just bad shrimp, but rotten spoiled. The second time it literally stunk from the other side of the table. The second time is when we decided it’s not worth the risk. The rolls are to die for, but spoiled seafood twice seems not to be coincidence…
Soso seafood. Overpriced unless eary dinner. Last two visits we had poor service; i.e. no drink refills, or check to see if we wanted dessert.
They don’t even honor their own coupons from the local newspaper! Waitress got rude when I asked why. Customer service ranks very low on their list of priorities. We weren’t even given all the food we ordered and paid for.
Red LobSter is NOT BAD!!!!!!!!!! It’s awesome!!!!!! I love that place!!!!!!! there is something wrong with you if u don’t luke it!!!!
