I have been eating at Antone’s since I was in elementary school in the 1960’s. Great Po Boys! Now the offer a much more extensive menu which is more directed at Cajun favorites. It is all very good.
The sandwiches are really tasty. On a crunchy bun if toasted. The egg salad was fresh and very good. It takes time to receive your order but each sandwich is made fresh when you order.
Stopped for quick lunch bite. Service was great, quick to get the gumbo and it was filled with seafood. Big enough to actually tell what you were eating. Delicious! Place was clean, too. We’ll be back!!
The Po’ Boy was a good size but not huge, I enjoyed the chicken and andouille gumbo better. The brisket was a bit dry and thinly sliced, not a lot of meat. Good size dining room, friendly staff.
