Don’t bother. Beef ribs thumbs down. Fried okra thumbs down,mac and cheese thumbs down. Hot links kinda sorta good, the sweet tea was really the only thing I liked about my meal. Will never go back. Restaurant was empty, still had to wait to place my order, then had to wait for the cashier to get done playing with her phone before she rang me up. flavor of food just was not there. This place could get better with better management.
Bad is Bad, But this is Sad!. What can I say about Tommy’s that others that don’t like it haven’t already? Like almost every other B-B-Q joint I’ve ever been to, this one hands down has THE worst side dishes you’ll ever have the misfortune to place between your lips. The Mac & Cheese is so over cooked that you can squeeze it between your teeth like jello, the BBQ beans are right out of the can with more sauce added and then cooked into a nice brown shapeless sticky paste. The fried okra is of the Sysco frozen variety, and then left in the steam table until they are like breaded and fried balls of green slime. I could go on forever but I don’t want to wreck your lunch! Oh, the smoked turkey is like eating cold cuts right out of the refrigerator.

TERRIBLE FOOD. The meat was horrendous. You can barely consider it barbeque, in fact you can barely consider it edible. Nothing wrong with the service or the place itself, but really the food was so bad I had to do my first review and hopefully save people from making the mistake of coming here. JUST GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. Maybe Sonny Bryant’s or Red Hot and Blue, or even Dickey’s… just don’t go to Tommy’s. It’s really that bad.
