The pizza was the star of the show. the shrimp needed some seasoning on the pizza though. I’ve had better mozzarella sticks. We went during happy hour, $1.50 for a small mug of beer was not too bad.

Wow! You have to try this!. Cold Beer! Great Food! Cool Music! We stopped in just to have a beer a taste a PO-boy. We ended up having the Boudin appetizer , gumbo with buttered bread and tried the special Cajun Canap (Boudin and Sausage) and half an Andy’s Special and half Cajun Pizza Place Special. The bread on the Po-boy was an incredible french roll with a fantastic battered shrimp smothered in a dynamite sauce! The gumbo was hearty and flavorful and it was paired with that incredible french roll! The pizza seemed to have everything on it was the right combination of spice and zest! Did I mention the cold beer? Can’t believe I haven’t been here before!
One of the best Cajun restaurants in Austin! Shrimp po-boy and muffuletta were wonderful. We’ll be back again for sure.
The Best Cajun Food Cooked by Authentic Louisiana Cajuns. I would drive miles to get one of their fried shrimp poboys or fried shrimp salads. The boudin and pizza are spicy but lets not forget the gumbo with the old family recipe that has been loved and perfected for generations. In this cold weather there is nothing that will warm your heart like this Cajun family favorite. I would love to have a gallon of it right now. Add steamed rice and you can’t ask for better food. Fried shrimp salad makes you want to savor every bite. gumbo just like the grandmas in louisiana cooked it for famalies taking all day long. boudin & sausage with that spicy sauce. pizza created just for you or try the cajun specials for a taste treat you will not forget. new orleans & cajun music along with your favorite t.v.’s. dine in or outdoors for the beautiful spring weather. so much fun to go there and so delicious.
