Favorite place to eat!! Wonderful food, excellent service and very comfortable atmosphere! Due to this the wait time can be long on Friday and Saturday.
Where’s the beef?. The food at Carrabba’s on Reasearch Blvd is OK. I had the spaghetti and meat sauce; nice sauce but very little meat. Kind of like Wendy’s chili, all sauce and beans and no meat. Salad cool and crisp, very good.Pasta cooked aldente and tastes ‘starchy’. Eat fast before it gets too cold to enjoy.May return to sample some other offerings.
I ordered the Penne Franco-Mushrooms with sundried tomatoes, artichoke hearts and black olives, in garlic and oil with ricotta salad cheese for $11. For the appetizer I had the lentil with sausage soup. Now that was delicious. Honestly I could have solely ordered that mildly spicy soup with bread as my meal. The pasta dish was very good and I left content. Great food and service.
I am super picky about going out for italian, especially to a chain restaurant but carrabba’s is the best of all chains and I have never been less than thrilled everytime I go there. I have never had a bad experience and the food is always to die for. I took my boyfriend for the first time and he keeps asking when we are going back! It’s worth the drive, and my only complaint is that there isn’t a closer location.
Best Corporate Italian. The Chicken Trio is not on the menu but is perfect to share with a date and save a lil room for dessert. They do actually prepare the meals in house (unlike the Olive Garden) and have always been better than average in my opinion. They are a cut above the other corporate Italian restruants in food and service. If you like to eat Italian often sign up on the website to find out the seasonal/monthly special dishes. I did and Ive found that when I cant catch a good local Italian place I mix it up with the specials. It keeps it interesting.
Better than Macaroni Grill. Carrabba’s is a chain restaurant, and all that entails, but the food is a notch above Macaroni Grill, and two over Olive Garden (shudder…)The food at Carrabba’s seems to have an extra pop to it that I haven’t found at the other franchise eateries. I like my seasonings to be robust, and have enjoyed every meal here. It’s not fine dining, make no mistake, but you can definitely do worse in this area.
Not local, but my one exception. We try to enjoy local restaurants, but Carrabba’s is our one exception. We have been to Carrabba’s all over Texas, and every time the food and service is great. The Chicken trio platter isn’t always listed on the menu, but order it to share with someone. It is ssssoooo good!
