Great Stuff!. Okra, corn fritter, and catfish were all great. Brought a guest from another country who had never had any of that before. He thoroughly enjoyed everything as well. The Waitress Hope was especially awesome. Recommend it highly!
Southern hospitality at its finest! The food at Catfish Parlour is good, down-home cookin’, and I love their spicy catfish–it has just the right amount of spice without having a fire mouth and uncontrolled sinus runoff. The staff really make the atmosphere: they’re so friendly and really accommodating (they were more than ready and eager to make sure my friend got a gluten-free lunch). I felt like I had been trandported to the best part of east Texas and I loved it! Truly a nostalgic journey into how restraurants should be!
Gross!!! The catfish was fresh but soggy and did not have much seasoning. Chicken strips were also nasty. Even the desert was bad. Freezer burn ice cream and gross crust on cobbler. Only good thing was the cold slaw.Will never go back.
Fresh, tasty catfish. Especially liked the spicy. Try the Swamp Style (gumbo on top). Extremely friendly, helpful staff (thanks Patrick for the gumbo sample)! Best coleslaw ever. And they have the green Tabasco – yum.

Loved the atmosphere and the staff was awesome. The reg fish could have had a little more seasoning for my taste. The jalapeno tartar sauce is the star and is off the chain.
