After the first loaded plate I had to go get a second one and got more tabouli and hummus. The gyro meat, kibbe, and fish were all good and my companions raved about the lamb. They’re constantly baking more fresh bread. Lots of ethnic patrons tell you it’s the real deal.

Nothing Special: not even worth the Groupon. After driving by DiMassi’s on 183 for the last year, I thought it was time to give the restaurant a try. I received a 50% off Groupon, which equated to $7 for the lunch buffet.I am a big fan of Mediterranean food and was elated to see that they had baba ghanous (hard to come by in Austin). Unfortunately, I have nothing bad to say about the food, but I don’t have anything good to say about the food either. The interior resembles something close to a Luby’s and the staff was nice enough. Nothing special though. If you are looking for good Mediterranean food, there are far better places in the area at that price point or cheaper. I would never eat a meal there if it cost $14, much less $7. Had to give it a thumbs down just because there’s nothing there that would ever warrant a second trip.

Dirty and inconsistant. Decided not to return. Was going 2-3 times a month for last year, and while it was good initially, the quality has taken nosedive recently. Floor is greasy and slippery and food was unappetizing and bland.

If don’t want to do a churrascerria. This is a pretty killer buffet, and everything is very good. The bread right out of the oven is excellent. The buffet price is higher than most, but a lot less tan a churrasceria. So, overall I give it a thumbs up.

First try at Mediterranean food. We used a Groupon, had no issues. It was a surprise that we had to pay tax on the Groupon.. a whole $1.98. The people were pleasant, the place was clean, there was an abundance of food choices. We tried the lamb, chicken, beef, rice dishes. fried cauliflower, potatoes, desserts, etc. All of the food was good.
