Average to better than average local Tex mex place. They always have plenty of staff and it’s nice to not continuously be waiting for someone to refill your drinks. Most of the food is decent with the the exception that I have been served horribly dried out chicken several times at lunch. I quit ordering the specials with chicken and my problem was solved. It would be hard to justify more than 3 stars as the quality of the food doesn’t consistently warrant that. They go from a 2.5 to 3 based in their always friendly staff.
This place is great! Always friendly staff and always good food. The rice is delicious and the chicken tortilla soup hits the spot Every Time! Try some the more authentic Mexican dishes and you will be hooked!
The service was decent, the food abominable. I’ve had more authentic Mexican food in Canada than the dross served to us here. If you do come here, avoid anything with sauce, and steer clear of things with chorizo if you don’t want bland sausage. Really the chips and salsa are your best bet, and they are mediocre at best. If I could have rated them a 0 out of 5, I would have.
I love Jardin Corona! It is a great neighborhood tex-mex restaurant. The servers are always very friendly and the food comes out very quickly. I normally get the papas nachos, which are loaded potato skins with chicken in them. The food is always superb.
Bad Service. I came from out of town hoping to find a good Mexican restaurant to go to with my family. To my disappointment, we received bad service. Food was decent but experience could have been better with better service. On the menu-enchiladas suizas it stated that it came with sour cream, it doesn’t. Definitely not recommending
One my favorite spots in town. I have never had anything bad here nor have I ever had bad service. The food is excellent, priced reasonably, and the staff is very friendly. Even though we moved out of the neighborhood, we still drive over there for our favorite Mexican food.
Jardin is one of the best dinner spots in North Austin! Great familiar staff and great food!
