Our server Heather rocked! My friend enjoyed the Austin Big Night Out. We brought family members who had never been and just really enjoyed ourselves. It is an experience, it does take time, but that really is the beauty of it. Conversation and good food is the best .. throw in a fantastic server like Heather and you will certainly make memories. suruchisinghblog.wordpress.com

User reviews. First time customer, and I have to say: WOW! What a unique and pleasant atmosphere. The restaurant’s sophisticated environment is perfect for groups to socialize in. The menus may as well be called customizable with diligent care from servers. Dessert was my favorite with a bowl full of fresh fruit and a plate of brownies, cakes, and marshmellows! My expectations were high and I felt as though they had been exceeded. The Melting Pot is not exactly a cafe, where a person is quickly able to pop in and out for a satisfying snack. It is a full-fledged restaurant that takes time to prep by the customers’ own preferences and technique. However, the exact architecture of the restaurant makes it an artistic experience for customers – the most important people! Loved it! I’m also a fondue fan so The Melting Pot hits the spot! Thanks!

Waste of money unless you like cooking raw meat in the dark. Cons-$$$Dark insideLoudCheese tasted weirdTook a long time to get our entree esp considering its rawSave your money cook at home or go somewhere $$$ that actually has a chef and an atmosphere. ProsThe waiters tried hard and were pleasant (the host not so much)

Love doing dessert here but everything else with the exception of their salads is way overrated and over priced.

I will be back!. Tried this restaurant for the first time with some friends and family. We got the cheese appetizer, a meal, and a dessert. I’m not a big fan of chocolate, but the dessert was amazing! Plenty of things to dip in the fondue, we made stuffed mushrooms out of our entree. Wait staff was very helpful, 2 thumbs up!

I really enjoy this place. Wonderful for a date night, or even a group. They have happy hour for their cheese and chocolates. The salad wine seasoning is delicious, I took a bottle home with me! Cheddar is delicious, and chocolates are yummmmmm!

Expensive but great for a group of friends to share. It’s way more than just melted cheese. You can even batter and fry! Expect to spend several hours so don’t be in a rush. 5 people in our group and it took nearly 3 hours! Dessert was excellent – rice krispy treats in melted chocolate was my fave.
