So Yummy!. Looking for a new place to eat that we haven’t tried yet, we went to Nan King. I’m always skeptical at places I haven’t been before, especially when I haven’t heard anything about them, but I must say I was very pleasantly surprised. I ordered Garlic Shrimp with fried rice, which was very tasty, but I must say that I tried the Orange Chicken from someone else at our table and it was just fantastic. I’ve never had orange chicken that was so good. The prices were very good also. We will definitely be returning, and I’ll be ordering the Orange Chicken for myself! The only thing that was somewhat disappointing was the waitress didn’t speak English well enough to explain some dishes. Comes with the territory I suppose.
Good food. Great food at a great price. The Kung Pao veggies are great and the crispy chicken is spicy, sweet and crispy, even after being sauced. The owner is so sweet and guided us through the menu with no problems. Would definitely go there again!
Made with Care. Very good food. Their sesame chicken is all white meat, fried crispy enough to hold up in the sauce and not turn mushy. Exceptional. The people working there are very sweet too.
Many Yaers of greatness. I have frequented this restaurant for at least twice a month forover twenty years reguardless of how far away I live. I have lived as far as San Marcos to come here. The beef Broccoli is not just a lame dish for people who dont have knowlege of chinese quisine, It is the best I have ever had anywhere ever( this includes all chinese dishes I have ever tried. The egg drop soup is great and the egg rolls are the runchiest ever( even after a 30 minuite car ride), All the other dishes are exelent and I have tried about 80% of the dishes. More than anything else this place has been consistent. The qualaty and flavor has always ALWAYS been the same, in other wordsI know what I am going to get every time.
