Best Poboy I’ve had this side of the stateline.. I’ve lived in south Louisiana most of my life and this food is on par with what I grew up with. I had gone in hoping to find some chicken and sausage gumbo or jambalaya-I can’t do seafood so I was in trouble. (or so I thought) I had the Poboy and my girlfriend had the red beans. You gauge a good poboy by how many napkins you need and I damn near ran out!The family is so sweet and their story is something my girlfriend and I can both relate to-being from south La. Louisianans should go talk to the family for a little bit. Very sweet people.Do pay attention-they have real restaurant hours.

Amazing! Everything was so good, service is great, and it’s byob. What more can you ask for? We will definitely be back.

Being from Louisiana, I was happy to find this fresh cafe with New Orleans style offerings. The gumbo was excellent, and my wife and I agreed the meaty red beans and rice special with fried catfish and freshly made French bread was delightful. I felt like I was dining in the French Quarter. We topped it off with a scrumptious blackberry pie. I can’t wait to go back and try the crawfish pie or shrimp po-boy. This is a place with really great authentic Cajun flavor.
