Knuckle Sandwich – Wasn’t dunked, which was disappointing, and while the roast beef was ample, it was less than I’ve seen in pictures. Overall, great sandwich, no complaints, loved it. The jus was fantastic as well.Pimento Cheese – Little on the salty side, but they do everyone a solid by including the pickles and pickled onion. Really ties the sandwich together. Maybe toast the bread? Maybe we’ll ask for it toasted next time. Was delicious and a good sized sandwich for being half.Jalapeno Slaw – Great, fresh, crunchy, not as spicy or as heavy on jalapeno as I’d like.Fries – Solid, maybe a little bit salty. Chips – House made? Good, regardless.Mimosa – Three bucks, tasted great!Absolutely will be back, hopefully for happy hour and hopefully very very soon. Sandwich shop and very very quick service, nice guy running the counter. A+. Go if you haven’t. A friend recommended it to us when we moved here, apparently it’s been on Food Network. Deserves any exposure they get. edWas a 4.5. Bumped them down to a 3. Service has been incredibly spotty as of late and they’ve really skimped on the filling for the sandwiches. Breads have been incredibly soggy the past three or four visits. Disappointing.

Since the move, Brandon took the chance and it paid off. Go to The Pig on 620 and have yourself some breakfast. It will make your little piggy toes curl like a pigs tail. GET CHA some TATO SALAD. IT ROCKS. Go Brandon Go.

Big disappointment. All three sandwiches in our group of diners were extremely boring. Pass on this place for better options.

Catered lunch was not great. They were very accommodating but the food was completely unspectacular.

Burnet Rd – Bacon Bummer. Went for the first time today and while the line was long and the menu was fascinating to read, the sandwich I had just wasn’t that good. Actually it was the bacon that killed it. Rock hard shards of too tough to eat bacon. I don’t like chewy bacon, I definitely don’t like bacon jerky on a sandwich, and I really do not care for bacon too tough to cut with your natural teeth. I ordered the signature Noble Pig which was supposed to be Roast Pork, Spiced Ham and Bacon with provolone and mayo/mustard. Sounded like a meltdown of piggy goodness. However – The room temp sandwich on un-toasted sliced bread just seemed like a bit of a let down compared to the description. It was a rather small pile of heavily flavored roast meat, on a rigid and somewhat sharp raft of bacon linoleum. Eventually I had to just remove the baco-tile from the sandwich entirely. For 9.00, I expected crispy edible pan fried bacon. Inexplicably there was also a roast carrot in there was well? But for the bacon, I’d come back. Because of the bacon, probably not. New restaurants open every day, life is too short to eat mediocre food.

Best sandwich place in Austin. Austin is known for its bars, brisket, BBQ, and diversity of modern fusion restaurants. Few would consider this to be a place of great sandwich restaurants, but then there is the Noble Pig. Situated in Northwest Austin away from any mall or tourist attraction, this small deli situated in a gas station complex is probably the best sandwich restaurant I have ever eaten at in all of Texas, if not the entire US. Featuring both hot and cold sandwiches, along with numerous side items such as cole slaw, potato salad, and fruit tarts with bacon in them, their menu is full of original items you won’t find at any franchise sandwich place. All of their meats are custom cut, with unique combinations of flavors and spices. Just one caution; do not come here at peak hours as the line is long hence resulting in a long wait.

Legit. Get your booties out here for some awesome sandwiches.I came here with my grandma for a little lunch outing and when I described the different sandwiches to her, she was intrigued. She got the seared beef tongue sandwich and I got the PBLT (pork belly lettuce tomato) sandwich. I tried her beef tongue sandwich and for me, beef tongue is an acquired taste but she liked it a lot, especially with the pepper aioli. I added a fried egg to the PBLT but I think I might have enjoyed better with out. The yolk was all over the place so it was a little hard to eat, BUT I loved the sandwich. The pork belly was super tender and had just the right amount of smokiness. The lettuce was a great crunch to contrast against the pork belly and the roasted tomatoes were delicious. Subtle acid to the rustic flavors. Also I’m a huge fan of the pickled veggies they give along with the peppered chips! I could eat the pickled vegetables for days.Overall, delicious!
