Reale’s is a great Italian restaurant. I get the pepperoni pizza and my parents get different spaghetti. The food is delicious and the staff treat everyone like family. Also their bread sticks are superb.
At Reale’s, it’s like dining with your italian family, because those in charge seem to know everyone who walks in. Quite impressive. Handsome dark walls, low lighting and smells of italian spices set off the experience. The wait can be pretty long, but it’s worth the wait. The service is impeccable. We ordered a pizza dish and salads, and it was all heavenly. Genuine service, authentic italian meal. All good.
We came for firtst time (last) with great expectatives, we did not like the food. No taste, like re-heated not fresh. We returned the main dish just to be polite, we wanted to return the apetizer also…did not try the pizza, we felt that it was goong to be the same story.
The best Italian Restaurant in Austin, period. Excellent food, service, atmosphere, and price. 5 stars
This is an *excellent* Italian restaurant. I just relocated here from Syracuse, NY and this is the first Itslian restraint I have been to in Austin that could stay open in Syracuse. I had the best cannoli I have ever had in my life here, the filling is home-made and it is FAR better IMO than what you generally get at restaurants. Never dreamed I’d have the best cannoli int life in Texas but that’s the way it is. I had their eggplant parm and tried the meatballs my kids were having and everything was fantastic. As good as any high-quality Italian restaurant I’ve eaten at up north. Definitely worth a visit if you like Italian.
Service was very slow. My water glass was never refilled and was empty by desert. My wife ordered a pizza and the center was soggy. I had the stuffed flounder with a side of Fettuccini Alfredo. I would not recommend that dish or anything Alfredo. We will not return.
Real home made italian family restauraunt. This is the real deal. Is run by an italian family from brooklyn. All homemade food and good stuff. Your basic classic italian dishes.None of that new wave stuff. Moderate prices, like about $15 for a dinner plate. Love the carbonara, seafood fettuccine and chicken marsala. Pizza is good too. Only negative is that I Wish they had whole wheat pasta…The reviewer below who says the staff was rude is a bozo. We live about 10 minutes away and have gone here like 50 times and never once had anyone who wasn’t nice. And most of the servers have been there a long time which is a good sign. And his claim that Olive garden (yuck!) is cheaper is also totally bogus. I just checked. Lasagna: olive garden $13.50, Reales $13.29. What an idiot. And to make it clear i have no business association to Reales except defending a good LOCAL family run place.
