Great Tex Mex. We usually go for dinner on Saturday night. We go for the food, but there is music some days, a bar and a patio if that is your thing. The food is very good to great traditional Tex Mex plus a huge variety of specialty dishes. The margaritas come in all varieties, but the regular ones are really good. Service is always good and Martin is ever-present to make sure you are satisfied. The salsa is usually very good – but it is made from scratch so it isn’t always exactly the same. The food isn’t cookie-cutter either – it will vary from trip to trip, but I view this as a good thing. I highly recommend La Brisa.
Food and Fun!. La Brisa is such a fun environment. They have live music like 4 days out of the week outside on their patio. The Stuffed Avocado with Fajitas is my favorite! Soooo yummy!! You should definitely check it out!
Amazing!. If you are looking for a great place that’s not just another chain restaurant look no further. they have great food and great service and if anythings wrong they want to fix it, on my visit there I actually met one of the owners which is something that would never happen at a chain restaurant it was a great environment and really good.
Bland Food, poor management, bad customer service. Our first (and last) visit to La Brisa Mexican Bar & Grill was memorable as it stands out as our worst restaurant experience, possibly ever.It started off bad, and just kept going downhill. We asked for some oven baked corn tortillas to make into our own baked chips since we’re trying to eat healthy. The waiter went and asked and was told by his manager that they can’t do that. Strike one…. We get these at many local mexican restaurants without issue, in fact they were offered to us the first time by a waiter at a mexican restaurant we frequent when he realized we were trying to eat healthily.My wife’s entree ordered without oil came out swimming in an oily buttery sauce. When she told the waiter she couldn’t eat it; he said he was sorry, but then did nothing to bring her what she ordered. Strike two….The young kid waiter was so afraid of his manager so he didn’t do anything to correct the order.I ordered a grilled fish entree. When I order fish at a mexican restaurant, I expect some sort of mexican spice on my fish. The fish had no seasoning at all; it was just a bland piece of fish with rice and beans on the plate. Strike three…For the life of me, I can’t understand why this restaurant is popular. With so many other good mexican restaurants in the Clear Lake Area, we won’t be back. I guess this area of League City (FM 518 & I-45 area) is really ripe for a quality mexican restaurant, if a bad restaurant is this popular.
Awesome buffet on Saturday and Sunday. Menudo barbacoa. They make tacos for you as well! Best Mexican food here!
