Great Burger Joint. First timer today for lunch with my son. Service was attentive, knowledgeable and friendly. Food was terrific. Both our burgers were served as ordered and both were delicious. We shared a 1/2 and 1/2 fries and onion rings – onion rings were excellent – fries were pretty standard, but served hot and tasted good. For a white table cloth restaurant this place sucks – but it’s a burger joint – and based on one trip it’s a damned good one. I’ll be back.
I have been in the service industry for 9 years and tonight was my first time at this restaurant. My server knew her menu so well and she had great recommendations for me. I was so impressed. The burger was amazing it was worth the 30 minute drive!! Can’t wait to come back!!
Disappointed…… Was SO looking forward to a big-ol’ juicy burger, I’m a HUGE fan of pre-ike Tookie’s and was told by my friends this is the place to go. The parking lot was full, good sign. The service was HORRIBLE! Everyone around us had plastic drinking cups, ours were styrofoam. We had to ask for straws and beg for tea refills.. Our appetizers came with our burgers, the onion rings came WAY after our burgers. I can’t believe the waitress had the nerve to give us our ticket BEFORE we had all of our food!!! The buns fell apart. My frito – bean burger was WAY overcooked and dry. The mushrooms on my husband’s Texas Tumbleweed burger (according to him) were straight out of a can, he said his burger was overcooked and tasteless. My son said his Hog Wild patty had no flavor.. Once we finally got our onion rings they were swimming in a puddle of grease. I understand they had an ALMOST full house, but if you’re gonna open up for Sunday lunch after church rush you should have an abundance of staff to take care of your patrons! 🙁 will not be returning.
Tasty burgers, huge onion rings and delicious enchilada licker dip! I had the Texas Tumbleweed burger, which had a perfect amount of mushrooms and perfectly melted swiss cheese. It was huge! The meat was medium well (as any good burger should be!) and was seasoned to perfection. Even the sweet tea was exceptional! I will definitely be visiting again!

My burger was raw not good but will give them one more try.
