Has New China Buffet Recipes. After being sad to hear that New China Buffet had closed, I was wondering if Buffet City would have New China’s recipes or what they had when I tried it last (which was a long time ago). So I went and tried all my favorite NC stuff – crab rangoon, egg drop, butter potatoes – and it looks like they are using all those recipes! This restaurant is also larger and has more buffets adding more options.The most unique thing though is probably the large open fish tank they have just inside the door. I have seen Asian fish tanks in the past, but I was not prepared for this. These fish are huge! When they see a person come up to the tank to look, they all huddle up to the side and start opening their mouths for food. Before I left I had to pay 25 cents and feed them some pellets.

The Jalapeno Chicken is about as Chinese as I am, but it’s tasty. A little sweet, a little hot, always good.Reasonable prices, friendly service.
Good food Good prices. They have a good selection of food. It’s always fresh and their staff is extremely friendly.
