Delicious home cooking at a low price and service that will amaze you. This place is known for serving to people traveling through states and their service is amazing to get people in, keep em smiling, and sent off in a timely manor. The wait I’ve noticed can be harsh on Sundays after church is let out, understandably so. My tip if you don’t want to wait too long don’t go during peak hours. The shop in the front is always fun to look around and see the cute country nick knacks, or to buy some of your menu items ( I love their fried apples and to make them at home is wonderful!)
Good but not great. Nice atmosphere. Our breakfast food was definitely good and worth coming back for again. The waitress was nice enough but only came by twice for a couple of seconds and quickly disappeared. I wanted to get a to-go box for our leftovers but she never came back to the table. That was disappointing. I only ate a 1/3 of my food and wanted to have some the next day. My daughter also wanted to take her eggs home to eat later since she filled up on pancakes. Bummer. The cashier at the check out where you pay for your meal was terse and unpleasant. She was polite through clenched teeth. You could tell she did not want to be there. She wasn’t rude though. Just begrudgingly polite while secretly cursing in her mind I’m sure. It is worth it for another visit. I highly recommend NOT sitting in the aisle of tables right next to the kitchen. It is high traffic and loud over there. I would recommend sitting next to the windows or away from that area. I will definitely do that next time now that I know. Food was good but not good enough to endure mediocre service on a consistent basis. I will give it another try sometime but only because my daughter loves it so much. I’m hoping the wait staff and cashiers were just off their game today and are better next time.
