Good value. Had a basic breakfast of eggs over medium,hash browns,toast and coffee. For the price it is a good value but the waitress was so busy everything was rushed. Nothing personal just need more help on the floor. Its your local hometown diner.
Lousy service. Was there on Mothers Day…we ordered. There was only about 5 tables with people, the rest were empty. There was three of us. We sat down… Waited appox. 5 minutes for waitress to take order. Then it took 10 minutes just to get chips and salsa. The chips were stale!!! Then they brought out my grandsons dinner first…then the granddaughters 10 min later. Then mine about 5 min. But only half of what I got. I had to wait for the onion rings. (The onion rings were horrible NO TASTE what so ever.) That was another 5 min. By this time I was ready to go, the kids were done eatting at this point. They took off the price of the onion rings only because when she brought me the sandwich. I gave a dirty look, like really….. Then I get 3 different tickets with each meal on it. Who does that, really!!! I do not recommend this place, I was told he had great food and service. Guess you can’t believe everything you here.
At breakfast time, while once again visiting a relative over the weekend, we chose to eat at Hallmark Restaurant. This is a pretty nice local 24-hour place with a diverse menu serving decent food. The servers here are busy, but friendly and helpful. I like never running out of coffee.Our relative chose the New York strip steak breakfast that came with hash browns and toast. My partner chose the Country Skillet breakfast that came with fries, scrambled eggs, and a gravy-topped chicken-fried steak. I chose the Mushroom, Onion, and Swiss omelette. This came with a biscuit and grits. All of our breakfasts hit the spot with their goodness.Hallmark is a very good restaurant in which to dine while visiting Killeen.
Service was pretty good. Lots of food for the money. Coffee was hot. But the pecan waffle was not great. Tough, not overly hot, just ok. Not bad overall, just not worth a return trip when I could get about the same meal at the hotel for free.
Have been twice- once for dinner and again for breakfast. Both times the food was just ok (with the exception of my pecan waffle, which was delish) and the service was ungodly slow. Probably wont return… The food is not worth the wait.

Best comfort food my a$$. We stopped by because we saw the best comfort food sign hanging up outside. Well it took awhile to get our order taken. The place was not to crowded so i do not understand how it could take 40 minutes to get your meal. Well when it finally came we got an order that belonged to some one else and it was cooling off already. The fries were terrible and i actually got to taste some raw ones. Just did not like the place at all, first and last visit for us.
