Not going again. I had never been to Panera Bread before today. I was in the mood for a flat bread or panini so i decided to try their pick 2. I ordered an apple salad and the chipotle chicken panini… The salad lacked taste. There was a lot of lettuce and very little chicken, pecans, or apples. i counted three apple slices or what not, that doesn’t really give me the taste that i was expecting. The panini was very sloppy. Overall, for $10, i rather go somewhere else and get better quality of food. will not be going again.
Excited to try, but disappointed. My husband and I had never been to a Panera Bread, so we decided to give it a try. We ordered a Steak and Cheese whole panini sandwich (it came with chips) and the Turkey Avocado BLT (half sandwich) with the cup of Turkey Chili as part of the Pick 2. We also ordered drinks and the total was about $20 for everything. We sat down and waited for our order to arrive, which took at least 15-20 minutes. When we got our order, I noticed that my Turkey Avocado BLT sandwich had only one small slice of avocado and a lot of lettuce, while my husband’s Steak and Cheese panini was overly cooked. The bread was too hard and he couldn’t even finish it. The turkey chili was pretty much the only thing I was content with. We left rather disappointed and felt that, at least the Panera Bread of Killeen, was overrated.
One of the worst dining experiences ever. I had never been to a Panera Bread so I was excited when this one opened in Killeen. I ordered a turkey sandwich and asked if it came with mustard and they said it did, so I asked if I could have mayo instead of mustard. I took one bite and realized they had indeed put mustard on it. Also the bread was dry and tough. I took it back to the counter and they asked if I wanted a refund so I said yes. My boyfriend got a ham and cheese sandwich and one half of the sandwich had no meat at all (he’s not the complaining type so he didn’t say anything but I would have made them fix it). We also got 2 croissants which were dry and tasteless. I left hungry. I will never set foot in this or any Panera Bread ever again.
Leave it to killeen to take a good thing & destroy it. The food is made sloppy. The drive through service is lacking basic knowledge. The manager doesn’t care. Your better off still driving to Austin for good Panera
