  The manager got the orders mixed up and he kept asking to see my receipt, which he finally kept. One black lady was so mad at having to wait forever for mild chicken, I thought her head was going to explode. When I finally got home I found I had more wings then usual too. I waited so long that they should have handed me a smock and put me to work.

  Disappointed in Killeen store – eat on post. I’m from the New Orleans area and I grew up with Popeyes when Al Copeland opened his first stores. I have been a fan of Popeyes ever since. Having said that, the last time I went to the Popeyes in Killeen (near Denny’s) it was noon on a Saturday, there was one other car there, and when I opened the door, I smelled this hideous smell of wet garbage mixed with backed-up sewerage. It was so overpowering, that I couldn’t even smell the chicken cooking! I lost my appetite and left. If you want Popeyes and you can get on post, go to the one there (near the old Soldier Dome). It is far better.Oh – and thanks Popeyes for bringing back the onion rings. Popeyes chicken, dirty rice, and onion rings! Now that’s good eating! Red Beans & Rice ain’t too shabby either, but it needs chunks of smoked sausage!

  The food is good overall, but the service sucks. The employees are there for a paycheck. I always check my bag before I go because my order is regularly wrong. Sometimes it’s cold. I love the Popeyes franchise, but this location is no good.

  Good food, good price.. Standard Popeye’s food (which I like). The service is pretty good but check the order as something items are missing.
