We had the gumbo at cafe Rian and it was excellent. Very small place but food is excellent and the staff very friendly.
The food is very good and so is the service. I had a shrimp basket and loved it. Next time I will get the shrimp and fish combo. This was the first time there, and I will be back.

Gumbo was excellent. One of the better ones I’ve had in Houston. Fried catfish and shrimp plate was pretty good as well. Gets a little busy at lunch time but the servers do a great job keeping your drinks full. Definitely recommend
This food was amazing!!!! I have been searching for a restaurant like this for sometime. Worth trip to the outside of Houston. Everything I had was fantastic. Give them a try. You won’t be disappointed.
This place is simply excellent. The atmosphere is great and authentic, the service is great with very friendly people and their food is the best! There is no way to find better Cajun food in this area.
