Fabulous! Just a mom n pop hole in the wall kind of place but the food is fresh-prepared and delicious. The hummus is freshly made in house, warm pita bread, gyros… Yum!
Tried the falafel plate with the hummus. The falafel was okay but the hummus was rather tasteless. The plate came with salad (okay) and rice with a veggie stew on top. Not bad but not great either. They do seem to do a good business with their gyros so maybe they are better. Not terribly expensive and the portions were plentiful. Average overall.
The food was phenomenal , the portions were much larger than I expected for the price I paid. The owner came out from the kitchen where he was cutting meat to say hello and intoduce himself. The resturant feels like a friendly small town greek cafe. Bringing the family next time.
I’ve eaten here quite a few times, and have always enjoyed there food. It’s as good as any I’ve had in Houston, and closer to my home. The gyros are delicious every time. Very fresh and filling. The owner always remembers me when I go in and asks about my Mom. Super nice lady.

OPA! Savvas Grill!!. Wonderful owners and staff!! Everyone is so friendly and cares about the service and food to guest. The food is very good and done in good taste very true to its culture. I would recommend them to anyone! The service is great and they are wonderful under pressure as well! It is exquisite dinning!
It’s ok for greek food good gyros but the side dishes aren’t very good and its overpriced. I’d rather drive a little more to the Olive Oil off Sawdust or Biba’s on Westheimer for authentic Greek food.
