Whole new restaurant – Excellent. This is a fantastic Italian restaurant!!! The food is outstanding and there is wonderful music and dance floor. Great outdoor dining area a plus. I noticed some old reviews from back in 2012. This is NOT Claudio’s Restaurant and Piano Bar that is there today! That was a restaurant that was there previously. There is no comparison between the two. I would suggest giving Claudio’s a try. You will not be disappointed!

Enjoyed the whole cannoli. Mattia’s was recommended by our daughter because she knew we liked Italian food and dancing. What a great place. My interior designer wife was impressed with the decor (a real accomplishment), and we found the food and the musicians to be GREAT!!!. Our waiter was congenial and went to great effort to see that our not so easily pleased guests were kept more than happy. If you like great food, music, and dancing, Mattia’s Trattoria is THE place to be.
I love a real, grown-up restaurant. Really enjoyed Thanksgiving buffet. Service was good, and we were allowed to take our time with our meal. I especially enjoyed the non-traditional sides – eggplant lasagna and a great wild mushroom bread pudding. So: service, good; food, excellent. I’ll be back.
Catering to patrons. When chef learned of my wife’s special dietary needs, he came to the table. Prepared wheat free, gluten free pasta and dairy free sauce. Waitress made sure everything was to our liking.Beautiful fine-dining restaurant that caters to customers.
What A Place! What A Meal!!!!!!!!!. Finally, League City and its surrounding areas has a restaurant that meets your every expectation. The ambiance is superb, the food and service is excellent. In addition, the decor is magnificent. I want to add that the experience is one that you will never forget, which brings you back again and again.Furthermore, I need to remark about the Executive Chef, Laurence Weddel. Chef Weddel has taken time to come to the customers table’s in lieu of his busy agenda at the restuarant. His cooking is excellent!Our family has been to the restaurant on few occasions since its recent opening. We will be celebrating my Mother’s, 90th birthday celebration soon. We urge everyone to go to Claudia’s & Mattia’s Tratattoria Piano Bar!
