The food was decent, atmosphere was not that bad, however the service was absolutely the worst service I have EVER received anywhere else. The hostess was sweet and very accommodating. The server however, seemed to be out out of his way with everything to do with our table and the fact that we needed more time yo decide what we wanted put him so out of his way. The hostess was more curtious and took better care of us by refilling our water cups with great conversation and a smile, where the waiter couldn’t seem to be bothered to take the time out to fill our water when asked for it and when he did finally show up with the water only filled the one glass that we originally asked about, but didn t give any other glass consideration and walked off without filling any others, which lead to us asking him to come back to fill another glass that was empty when he came the first time. Our food came out at 3 totally different times, my daughter in laws first, about 5 minutes later mine and almost 15 minutes after that my son and husbands came out. When it came time to ask for our check our waiter went and stood at the back talking to co-worker and then walked to the back and was gone for a good 10 minutes, when my son got up and asked another waitress for our ticket, as she printed it our waiter reappears, and the waitress handed it to him, and he looked at it confused and dumbfounded looking. When he finally brought the ticket to us he quit literally dropped it on the table and walked off not ackowleding us at all, this was the same bad attitude we received when he picked the check and payment up and when he dropped the final check yo be signed to us. Needless to say this entire experience has left us to question if we will ever come back again. And to think this was our very first time here, what a not so great first impression.
Restaurant was nice but the gumbo was the worst I ever had. I grew up on the border of Louisiana so I know what real gumbo tastes like, this is not even close. After two bites just left it on the table. I haven’t been able to make myself go back to try anything else.
Not good!!!. If you are from Louisiana or anywhere that serves FRESH seafood don’t waste your time here! Not worth the money. On the plus side, the staff was really nice.
