I went for dinner and when I sat down they gave me dirty menus. Brad plates but to cheap to serve bread. Ordered an appetizer of scallops and they came out 3 on a plate with no bread and they were cold. Watching waitress next to my table serve 2 big posts bowls with her thumb in the bowl. Waitresses have no training. Picking up drinking glasses for refill grapping them at the top. Then my dinner shows up and I ordered grits and shrimp. Terrable …never going back.
We have eaten here 5 or 6 times and just had the most humiliating experience. There was no hostess to greet us so we chose a small two top and ordered our drinks. A waitress came up and told us we would have to move because she had reserved that table. There was NO reserved sign on the table. We left and went to Perry’s and had a wonderful meal and service. There are too many good places to eat in Clear Lake to suffer such poor service..
Amazing every time. Beyond amazing! We have gone for breakfast, lunch, and dinner and all have been amazing. We recently had a party of 28 there and we couldn’t have asked for a better evening. The service was above and beyond, the chef did an amazing job with the dishes, and the atmosphere was perfect. I don’t remember our waitresses name but she was awesome and very attentive and caring.
The soup of the day was Italian gumbo, nothing at all like gumbo but so fabulous that I got one to go. Creamy risotto and a pesto shrimp soup. I requested the fried asparagus with huge crab claw meat. Big glasses of wine! Yeah, I’ll go back.
My first impression was not impressive. When I walked in no one was there to greet me. There were only two other tables at the time. We stayed until the crowd came, which was earlier than expected. Noisy. Bricked in walls with a sense of little insulation. The wine was reasonably priced. The staff were extremely slow and I was confused as to who my server was. I ordered the scallops. They were cooked perfectly, the risotto was bland. My husband tried the mahi mahi. The center of the fish was cold. Bummer.
Nice atmosphere. Waiters were slow to taking our order. I assume it was the manager that ended up waiting on us. He was good. Asparagus was good. My salmon was way over cooked. I was disappointed with my experience and price.
I love this restaurant. The food is wonderful and is made with care. This is by far my favorite place to go out to eat in the area. I would definitely recommend it!
