Best Sushi in South Houston/Galveston. Great atmosphere and reasonably priced.Friendly/fast wait staff.Excellent quality sushi/sashimi.Sundays they have free mimosas at lunch.I love the music they play.Overall quality far exceeds Sky Bar or any other sushi restaurant in Galveston.
Great food great prices. My husband and I come to the 646 location at least twice a month! The food is amazing, excellent sushi menu, and the atmosphere is laid back an fun! The wait staff is attentive and nice as well! All @ good time!
Sub-par at best. Just took home an order of sushi & the Spicy Tuna Roll looks brown, like week-old beef. Yuck. This is not only unappetizing, but unsafe. Sushi is food that depends on freshness to keep you from getting food poisoning. The white fish was also poorly cut with tendon on it (see pic). The sushi is sliced very thick, not like it should be. This is not my only bad experience. My bf & I picked up an order a few months ago & their rolls were uninspired & without flavor.
I haven’t been to many sushi establishments but by far this is the best one I’ve been to around here. They had such a variety though and it was a bit hard to understand what was what if your not a sushi aficionado but let me say when I recorded my order it was excellent. I’d go back definitely
An Excellent Find. For fresh, creative, and reasonably priced dishes, Masa Sushi complies. I prejudge Japanese restaurants by how well made their miso soup is, and Masa Sushi’s soup passes with flying colors. Their sushi and sashimi dishes as well as their hearty Bento trays are plentiful and delicious. Their service is very good. I would highly recommend Masa Sushi for a lunch or dinner experience.
