  Not the right place… On a trip to the Houston Bay area I wanted to return to the best chinese restaurant I have ever eaten at, back when I lived in the area. I saw Szechuan and the location was about right, so I tried it. Some kind of disturbance must have happened just before I entered. I had to wait a considerable time while the host and hostess were busy and the wait staff eyeing me, maybe I should have left then. I ordered hot and sour soup and twice cooked pork, my old favorites. When I tasted the soup, I should have know something was different, not the same. The soup was more salty and sweet than hot and sour and the pork was tons of meat and mushrooms but few vegetables, cabbage and pepper but was at least spicy. The wait staff was very inattentive and was the plus for this restaurant. Upon leaving I finally noticed the sign and it said Szechuan League City and not Szechuan _ _ _ _ _ _ League City.This is a good chinese restaurant but not the best I had expected, so my rating might be bias. I do recommend the this restaurant if you want lots of meat in your dish that is seasoned well.

  It’s just average… I’ve been to this location and the one in Dickinson, which they make quite clear are not the same. (but they have the same logo…) This one is just okay, average Chinese, similar to Panda Express. I thought it was a little over priced for the quality, but definitely edible. The service was fast, too. If I have the time for the 10 min drive, I’ll definitely choose the Dickinson location.

  Best Chinese food in League City..Great lunch specials..We love the family dinners for take out..alot of food.

  I have been eating at Szechuan Garden for about seven years now. I’m into quality food. Szechuan Garden prepares fresh cook to order meals. I enjoy the atmosphere. Service is excellent. Great prices for great food.

  I’ve been in the league city area for years and I think this place is disgusting… Number one they have carpet so that holds germs and odors and the food is just as bad
