Amazing. Been here twice thus far. Not knowing what to expect from an Asian BBQ restaurant, read some other reviews first, who recommended the spring rolls. So I made sure to get spring rolls. Both times has thus far been sold out of the baby back ribs, so have yet to try them, but the pork ribs, chicken and brisket were all moist and delicious. Their special BBQ sauce is amazing, not entirely sure how to describe it, but you can just smother the meat in it and it’s wonderful. The thai tea is also really good, though they didn’t have any on my second trip there. Go in knowing you may have to change what you want to order around a bit depending on what they still have available, but I give it a 5/5 star rating. Everything they have had has been nothing short of amazing, and it’s easily become my favorite BBQ place in town 🙂
Skip. I passed by Long Tieng several times before I finally stopped in. I definitely regret waiting so long before I did. The brisket is the best I have ever eaten and the atmosphere is one that has to be experienced to be believed. Mrs Howard, the owner, is one of the nicest and funniest ladies I have ever met and there are no strangers in the dining room. She really keeps the place hopping. The waitress, June, just adds to the fun. I am now a very regular customer and will continue to be so.Great food, both BBQ and Asian, great atmosphere and wonderful people, just doesn’t get any better than that.
Brisket Plate. Simply the bomb not to mention the staff are so nice28 Oct, 2014The Bomb. I was met at the door with a smile and a friendly hello by the waiter. Who showed me the menu. I was hand made fresh egg rolls with the contents to die for by the cook, who was so friendly and welcoming. Im not kidding I had a smile the whole time. I was ordering take out since I was at work. Generous fresh proportions and the beans were like a Mexican Asian version of refried. best bbq in San Antonio and ive tried them all sorry big lous bbq this place smashes yall.
Amazing food, great service, great price.. The owner provides personalized service, the food is amazing (ALWAYS get the egg rolls) and I love that she customizes her dishes to what she has on hand for you. I’ve had incredible stir fries and coconut curries, and watched my friend eat their ribs with chopsticks, they were so tender. I always love visiting Long Tieng.
WOW!. Decided to give this place a try. EVERYTHING was excellent. the service, the food (phat thai, egg roll, and brisket), the atmosphere, everything! Would definitely recommend giving this hole-in-the-wall a try. Can’t wait to go next time to see what Asian special she has for the day and try the ribs as well.
This place is definitely not your cookie cutter BBQ joint. Eggs rolls with a side of the best brisket and pork ribs in the city. By far one of the best BBQ we have had in the city. Beyond the food the couple that owns and runs the restaurant are wonderful. Super nice and attentive. If you are looking for good BBQ and Asian it’s worth the drive.
Great Fusion – BBQ & Fried Rice. What a find! First time dining after reading other reviews. Shrimp fried rice was the best! Couple who runs this place is so nice and waits on you personally. The wife who does the cooking, will make your food to order, even letting you taste it to ensure seasoning is perfect. Everything was delicious! But make to save room for Fried banana dessert. Will definitely go back.
