Wonderful lunch, very friendly. I am from Lubbock and didn’t know this little place existed. I have to say it makes me kind of sad I’ve been missing out on the bakery. The customer service is very friendly and were happy to cater to my specific requests. It is definitely a mom and pop place, but my salad was good, and I wish they had used nicer greens, but my California chicken club sandwich was very tasty. Afterwards I had a snicker doodle that was FAN-FREAKIN-TASTIC! Ended up getting extra to share with my family. I’d definitely go back for breakfast or cookies.
Overlooked but shouldn’t be. Apple tree is a Mom and Pop has has the best pancakes in town-also the toast is perfect and the home fries are real. Southwest omelet is very hard to beat (spicy) and the coffee is good. Everything at the bakery counter is super (I especially like the peanut butter cookies). Cozy and personal. Custom baking too. Double pecan pie competes with my wife’s. Tried lunch a few times and was not disappointed. The short menu is a good thing. Oh, and the bacon quesadillas!!! Should be on your list of best breakfast spots.
AWESOME CUSTOMER SERVICE. First, let me say I haven’t been here…yet. I live in Houston and wanted to find a cherry pie for my TTU son’s birthday. I called and the owner answered the phone. I explained what I was looking for and couldn’t have been more fortunate. Not only was she understanding but also kind and caring about getting this done for my son. The best part, however, was the call I received from my son. Cherry pie is his favorite and he said that this one ranks among the best he’s had.Well done, Apple Tree Cafe and Bakery. CUSTOMER SERVICE AT IT’S VERY BEST!I’ll definitely visit them on my next trip to Lubbock.
Super Awesome!. Was near my corporate office to get lunch and immediately the staff was super friendly and inviting and i got a menu and sat down and orderd, the food came out really fast and fresh and omgee it tasted sooo good i thought i was in my mother’s or grandmother’s kitchen it was just so good, i dont think they add a lot of salt in the food which i think is awesome cuz i hate over salted food. i went again today and i just had to get the tuna salad sandwich again it is just so good, they have a lot of baked goods but i am not a big fan of sweet foods however i am def thinkin of trying theirs because its just looks so good and fresh. def check out it is so worth it, trust you will not be disappointed , i know i will be going back very often, the prices are great too!

Hidden Gem!. We just found Apple Tree Cafe and Bakery this week. We had no idea that they were even there! What a surprise to find the best biscuits and gravy in Lubbock. We will be regulars for sure!
We came in 6 minutes before thy closed and the staff acted like we were the first customers of the day. Even at closin time all the food was great and I am for sure coming back!
