I loved it wow what a turn around for this place they got a remodel that makes the place look a lot better my food was good at a decent price and half price apps are always good and cheap drinks and the bartender (butters) was great smiled the whole time and made us laugh as a customer and critic I would recommend this place
How can this place stay open. The food socks and the staff are loud rude and have bad hygiene! !! Save your money.
HORRIBLE SERVICE HORRIBLE ATMOSTPHERE LACK OF ANY CARE WHATSOEVER. We went for mothers day and waited like everyone else even though there were tables everywhere. Finally got sat and our server kept asking if he could go check on his other tables. we ordered at 1:50 and waited till 3:05 before getting up to leave. We never did get our food. there were still open tables everywhere and guests lined up waiting for a table. 3 servers hunched over talking not helping right at the hostess station and dirty tables and open tables everywhere. WE got up to complain as we left and there was a line of people complaining. When I called management to let them know he didn’t do anything to fix it, didn’t respond with how they would fix it nothing just sorry and hung up not even a thanks or goodbye. Horrible music, horrible atmosphere, horrible service. Way to many restaurants in Lubbock than to waste time or money at Applebees.
This was my second visit, mostly comped. My first time around wasn’t too good and this wasn’t much different. The appetizer had to have been the best part of the meal. I enjoyed the thin and crisp layer of batter. I ordered their new Honey Pepper tenders over three cheese Mac n Cheese. The honey must have dripped into the pasta. There was such a sweet creamy taste which wasn’t enjoyable at all. Bacon pieces turned out to be undercooked and chewy. The desserts were okay but nothing special.
I’m not particularly an Applebee’s fan but my food was okay and long islands only two bucks? If they have anything really going for them is the alcohol! And our waitress was nice so I can’t really see why there are such terrible ratings.
Unbelievably bad. Had Margarita Queso Chicken & Shrimp. Twice the necessary sauce and stringy burnt chicken. After delivering the meal the waiter disappeared. If he had returned we would have returned the food. Aster sitting for five minutes with no staff in sight we ate. We ultimately had to send someone to get drink refills after we ate. The manager, bartender and servers were seldom in the dining area. They don’t care about their customers. You should not care about them!!!
Not bad at all…. This store has received a lot of negative votes, but it must have recently improved. We decided to give it a try and it was not bad at all.Our server was attentive, friendly and professional. The store was clean and in good order. Our food arrived in a timely manner and as ordered.I had the Creamy Parmesan Chicken. My wife had the Turkey Club. Both were good. The chicken is a lower calorie item, so don’t expect something super rich. But for low calorie food, it was really good.If you’ve found the store to be less than desirable in the past, consider giving it another try. For us, it wasn’t bad at all.
