What went wrong. I have been taking my family here 4-6 times a month for almost 2yrs and the food was excellent. But for the last 2-3 weeks something has changed beans no flavor, guacamole no flavor, enchiladas corn tortillas taste freezer burnt and the food has been absolutely horrible, so bad that none of us ate more then a bite or 2 of our orders. Sad that we will not come here to eat any more…..
The best. This is the only place I go to for Mexican food . I have been there 5 times and everything has been great. The food is fresh and seasoned perfectly and it’s not full of grease like most Mexican places in town . Give them a try you’ll be glad you did
Nice place to enjoy a meal. Lunch for 2 was charged 13.87 plus a 5 dollar tip paid cash. Check my bank statement aranda ‘ s taqueria over charged me 12.00 dollars on top of 13.87. Please check your bank statements or credit bill. Last few visits I just paid with cash.
Went to lunch there today and it was decent traditional Mexican food. It wasn’t the best I have ever had in my whole life, but for the price and service Arandas will be a place I frequent. I had the chicken fajitas, which was flavored nicely but the rice and beans were lacking. Also, I was a bit bummed that we had to pay for sour cream and shredded cheese to put on the fajitas. The tortillas, queso, and meat were tastey!
Good Authentic Mexican Food. I’m really pleased with the service and food here. I was very happy to see lengua (beef tongue) on the menu. I’ve been looking for somewhere close to me that sells it since Josey’s took it off of their menu. I have had several different lunch and dinner plates here and have liked them all.
Stopped there one Sunday morning and had their menudo, not good at all. My quest is to find the best menudo in Lubbock, the search goes on!
I ordered their asada torta along with two tacos; one of barbacoa and the other was al pastor. The overall meal was good. The al pastor didn’t come close to the one sold back home at Ravi Taco. I was bummed that their fryer wasn’t working. After searching a few Mexican joints, this was the first to sell tripas but none on hand. I’d go again to try other menu items because they really remind me of home and the service was great.
