Lunch!!! Had the Big Hick 8oz Burger !!! Very very good. The bun was perfect it held together on this nice big juicy burger. Had the green beans as a side. Wow great green beans very good. Along with that the refreshments were very cold and very good. Never empty!!!! Very good selection of draft refreshments too! A repeat burger place. Staff was good, owner very nice and very talkative. A nice lunch break.

We came on a Saturday around 4:30 and were seated quickly. Noticed many TVs and a smokefree atmosphere. Restaurant was clean and appeared to be adequately staffed. Ordered the West Texas Sunset margarita. This was a unique, sweet and spicy beverage. Highly recommend. House margarita was average, but that’s to be expected with a $4.50 drink, right? On to dinner…husband ordered Tilapia Tacos with a salad with ranch dressing for his side. Ranch is made with buttermilk and fantastic! I ordered the Ridge Chicken Sandwich. It is a grilled chicken breast on a wheat bun served with bacon, Swiss cheese, lettuce, tomato, guacamole and honey mustard dressing. It was good as well. Lastly, we ordered the Back 40 Pie. A local pie bat makes this especially for this restaurant. I liked to see local businesses supporting each other. The only negative comment I have is in regards to the guacamole. It was overly smooth leaving me to think it was packaged, premade guacamole. Guacamole is too easy to create from scratch for a restaurant to use a premade guacamole. They serve guacamole on a lot of dishes, so making their own would make a big impact on their other dishes. We will be back?11 Apr, 2015Tilapia Tacos. Dish was good. Tilapia accompanied by black beans, roasted corn, pico de gallo, guacamole and corn tortillas.
