I love Blue Sky so much! Best burgers and fries in Lubbock! The environment is great!
In this genre of burger places, I prefer here over the competition. Just greasy enough to be really tasty and the onion rings are seasoned well. Only complaint is their green chili burger would be better if the chilies were actually grilled and placed on the burger rather than given as a side.

Blue Sky has terrible customer service… I called ahead to order sat on hold for 10 mins… I was working next door watched 3 employees come out to smoke while I was sitting there. Someone finally got back on the phone said hello and then hung up on me… So I decided to go next door to jumbo joes. Blue sky sucks and I will never ever go there if I were you
Way overpriced. Two burgers, fries and soft drinks is over $25. The food is great, but I don’t want to pay big city prices for a burger in Lubbock.
I ordered the chili cheeseburger, order of tots, and a banana milkshake (yes, with whipped cream and a cherry on top).Turns out a chili cheeseburger in this place is not what you think: you get a cheeseburger with all the fixins, and a small ketchup style dispenser scoop of chili ON THE SIDE. What? Who does that? Sadly the chili was terrible to boot, so maybe that’s why they do it. This was a flavorless spiceless ground beef junk: it may be chili in Canada, but here in Texas it’s dog food.The cheeseburger was good and tasty: due to the size of the bun I recommend you consider a double patty, that would probably put this burger at the top of your list.Tater tots tasted like they came out of a Sam’s Club big bag and were under fried for me. Red Gold ketchup bottle at the table helped them a lot.The milkshake was delicious (Blue Bell Ice Cream based) with real chunks of bananas.
