Boycotted. I refuse to go back to Chilis. Ever. If I am ever invited to eat at Chilis to accept a prestigious award or raise in salary, I will decline. Little to no vegetarian options. Bland yet, somehow, disgustingly unhealthy at the same time. FAIL.
Our family goes to the university location sometimes. I admit, we have settled for mediocre service over the years. Management is the root cause… staff and management doesn’t think critically anymore in order to do what’s right for the guests. Sometimes its not the issue, but the principle of the matter. The management here dropped below mediocrity today by demonstrating they cannot tell the difference. Unfortunate.
Horrible experience. Took my family on a Saturday evening. Not very busy. Empty tables in plain sight. Waited 15 minutes to be seated. Dumb move on my part. Should have left then. Waited one hour for our food. 55 minutes into the wait our waitress came by and said 4 more minutes. At one hour we left without ever receiving our food. Chicken fajitas and a hamburger take 10 minutes to cook. One hour is unacceptable. That area of town is growing. There are numerous other restaurants that will appreciate your patronage. As for me and my family…. Never again!
