Nice place for lunch. Stopped at Chimy’s on my way into town. There margaritas are good. I had the green chill quesadillas, also good. Nice staff. I would go back anytime
I agree with other reviewers. Pair up some of their nachos and a margarita and you’re set. The portion is huge and the price is more than affordable. I really enjoy grilled onions. So, having those on the nachos just made the much better. Being able to dress them on your own at their salsa bar makes all the difference. The margarita? Great. It really is a college hangout but I can see myself going there more often.
Great Food and Drinks. There’s nothing better on a hot day than some Chimy’s nachos and a margarita. If you aren’t a fan of crowds, then definitely shy away from eating there on a Friday or Saturday night. I would recommend having lunch or dinner there during the summer months when there are less college students around.
Make sure you have a big appetite! The food is good. If you are not a college student, make sure you understand this is a college hang out. We got a wrist band!!! (We are in our 30s and 40s.) The margaritas were served in a plastic cup which again is college style. This establishment serves its purpose in a college town.
Great place to have a drink and wait for your food.
Chimys. Great place to get some margaritas. Order the Ferrari or the Lamborghini and you’ll know what a real margarita is supposed to taste like. Other than the nachos don’t order anything else cause all there tacos suck. If you want a taco go down the street to Fuzzy’s and order some there.
