Fajita Buffet!!!. Hands down the best Tex-Mex buffet you will eat in your life- all for a measly $8! On Fridays they have spectacular Chile Verde. The tortillas are made fresh in front of you and they have killer salsa.
Love the atmosphere, that it’s kid friendly and has great food!!
Angie M. I love the 50th Street Caboose. I go there regularly, get great service most of the time, and it has great food. I don’t eat a lot of meat, so I request that they make the deep dish enchiladas with cheese and chile on top, which they do with no problem. I also request that the Caboose special be prepared with all cheese (enchilada with red sauce, relleno with queso, and beef taco.) I also love the cobb salad, fajitas for one, and the rib eye steak. Because the portions are so large, I usually split with a friend, and with the VIP discount card (free to all patrons – just ask for one – it’s given immediately for immediate use), we usually eat a full meal for under $12 for 2 people (including soft drinks). Monthly prizes are given for Texas Holdem players – via video poker – all free! There are tv’s all over the place. The game room is a great place for the kids although it does get a bit pricy for the games. In addition, one of the FIRST things that EVER attracted me to the place was the fact that if something is not right, just ask for a manager, and he/she will send out a different server or make things right even if it means going to the kitchen in order to help prepare the meal personally.
WORST SERVICE EVER!
I usually love this place but our service was awful we weren’t even waited on until ten minutes after sitting down, we didn’t get the appetizer we ordered. Our sandwiches took 20 minutes to come out and we weren’t checked on atall in-between. I think I’ll choose another restraunt next time!
Deep dish enchiladas are good, everything else ehhhh.
I’ve been to both locations. They’re decent. I like the option of playing pool.
