Yuck. My husband told me the past few times he tried Dickey’s that it was good, so we decided to get a quick lunch here. Bad idea. First we tried to order online, and the ordering system was down. So we drove to go to the drive through instead. When we got home and unpacked, we realized they gave him the wrong sides. I started to pick at mine, quickly realizing that my chopped bbq was cold, as was my roll. My husband’s brisket was all fat- he ate one slice of the four they gave him. I really wish we had spent our $20 elsewhere.
A lot of food!
I sat in the drive up window for 28 minutes before I drove off without buying anything. If this happens again you will lose me and my business for ever. Either put food out faster at the driveup or close it and bece a full service bbq joint
Overpriced and Dry, Dry, Dry. Decided to try Dickey’s even though I knew the prices were high. Ordered the two meat plate, sliced brisket and polish sausage. Both meats were overcooked and way too dry. Even drowning with sauce did no good. Potato salad was thin and tasted like mashed potatos with mustard. Sure wish a good barbeque place would open in southwest lubbock.
Excellent BBQ! Great brisket and sauce, good sides. Meat was sliced to order, sides were fresh and hot. Staff was very friendly–even to an Aggie fan. Highly recommend this place.
YUMMMMM!!!!!!. We eat at the Dickies on Slide a few times a week. Great food, they will slice the beef extra lean for us, great Turkey breast, food very consistant, great staff, and very friendly consistantly. We feel like family there!
Good food!. I had the Thursday special, a spicey sausage sandwich with choice of one side. All the sides look really good and the ones I’ve tried are good. The sausage was really good. The price might be slightly steep, but the food and service are great!
