Disappointed. It is nothing to write home about. A mediocre burger with a heavy price tag. If this is the idea of what a burger is in the N.E. I feel sorry for them. Texas style burgers are sooo much better. The fries were horrible, my little fry eating monster actually spat them out they were so nasty. Not returning, can get a better bang for my buck and a better burger at Braums!.

Burger is better than your average fast food place – fries were ok but a little limp and underseasoned. Service was fast. Was a bit pricey.

Fantastic burgers and fries. Loved 5 Guys in DC and so glad they’ve come to West Texas! Specializes in the basics and rocks them!

If Freebirds sold burgers. If you are okay paying for a totally over priced burger, then I highly recommend. It’s totally great, each burger has to be at least 1000 calories. That’s a good thing. It’s like the Freebirds of burgers. Just too expensive for me.

Expensive. So, the burger is good but not enough for the price tag. The fries are just as tasty as many people have mentioned. They’re not salty or overly greasy as some reviewers have mentioned; maybe I just lucked out. It was my first time here and I got a bit carried away ordering it with everything. My palate was beat up. I’ll be returning but I’ll stick to a traditional burger with these guys. Maybe the price won’t be as high. Still a very acceptable fast food burger though!

Disturbing Experience. My family and I were dining at the Lubbock location at Milwaukee Ave and the Marsha Sharp Freeway. A security gueard came in and, unknown to us, his pepper spray went off accidentally. A cloud of the pepper spray spread throughout the restaurant and all the diners ran out, leaving their food unfinished. I am not upset about what happened or the quality of the food. What I and my family are upset about and humiliated by was the reaction of the staff and manager. As we were standing outside the restaurant trying to figure out why were were all gasping with irritated throats, the staff stood inside laughing at us. When we went back in to discuss it with the manager, she reacted as though were were all over reacting. DONT GO TO THIS LOCATION in Lubbock. Thankfully we have another one to pick from.

Poorly executed franchise. I like the concept of the founder in Virginia and his sons. There was a fine story in Forbes about the firm recently. We have visited 2 Lubbock locations several times and, in general, like the food. It is priced high but the quantities are big so don’t order as you would at a fast food joint. The burgers are double pattied and the regular fry is enough for two or three people. My last visit was a real disappointment as the fries were so salty I had to wipe most off to eat them. Some had large areas of salt caked on them. (Canyon West) At 19th & Quaker the dining room is usually so cold that it ruins the experience – and I’m a cold weather lover!
