The breakfast was good! I had a breakfast gordita! It included eggs, bacon, cheese and salsa. The chips and salsa were not that great and the staff was slow at refilling my coffee.
We love Jalisco. It was the first restaurant we tried when we moved to Lubbock and it’s turned out to be one of the best. I usually get the mini tacos al pastor or carnitas. Their guac and salsas are good, not much a fan of their queso or margs though. Service is always good and never had to wait for a table, though it stays pretty busy.
I’ve been eating here since I started school at Tech in 2005. I have never been disappointed with their service or food. Great place to go get drunk on cheap good margaritas!
Everything was excellent. All dishes that we ordered at our table were perfect. Much much better than any restaurant we have in Midland! They have a location in Midland by the same name, but the food is not even comparable as the Lubbock location. The plates in Midland are also 30% more expensive.
First couple of times the food and service was good. The last 3 times not at all. Consistency people.
Home sweet home – lubbocks no. 1 mexican cocina. If you miss the taste of your favorite mexican restaurant and you are from out of town – i recommened this awesome place. the staff is friendly and eager to please and the chefs back in the cocina…well what can i say – congratulations. i will be taking my entire family over before my daughters graduation! esther gonzales turner (great grandfather born in san antonio in 1833 and had his own restaurant)
NOT AUTHENTIC AND JUST TERRIBLE. I ordered the gordita plate and I got a broken gordita. When I pointed this out to the waitress, she did not seem to understand but immediately took the plate from me. When she returned with a new plate, there was less food on it, the gordita was still broken and almost empty. Nothing else that I tasted or saw was authentic or good. I cannot believe people think this is authentic Mexican food, it most certainly is not. I am from Mexico and this place is an insult to Mexican cuisine. Spare yourself some disappointment and don’t eat here.
