While not terrible, its as if Applebees and Olive Garden had an ugly baby. It’s a crime to call it Italian. The chicken milano was the blandest, most boring chicken. The caesar dressing was flavored mayo. The spicy chicken romano only dreams of being as spicy as black pepper. Disappointing
They always run out of the potato soup!!! Make more!!! That’s the only reason I went there and I was disappointed that they were out. It’s been the 3rd time that has happened, ridiculous.
First Bad Carino’s I’ve Ever Been To. Please do not pre make the entire entree and have it sit for periods of time waiting for a patron. Please have the cooks read and follow the recipe cards provided. Near burned food is not very good. Please do not expect servers to also tend bar. Most cannot do both effectively. Please do not automatically comp a meal. Re-do it. I’m reasonable. I don’t want to go home hungry.Please have all staff wash their hands or at least use a waterless sanitizer. Nothing’s perfect, just stick to the basics. Thank you for your time.
Chicken Scaloppini. Great food, large portions (two can eat from one entree), reasonably priced, friendly service.
Spaghetti & Handmade Meatballs. No necessarily this dish where always mix them with tie bow or other type of pasta (reflex laziness). The managing is noticeable too way different than previous one. Something is happening at this restaurant since I’ve been a customer for more that 7 years: waiting a lot when it is not anymore crowded, waiting extra time on orders, and manager does not has control of all of this mess. No more Carino’s for me!
Very good service. Our waiter was very helpful and knowledgable about gluten free menu, which is by far the best gluten free menu that I have seen so far. If you love Italian food Carino’s is one of the best in Lubbock if you’re gluten free coritos is by far the best!
Bad experiance!!!. From the monent we walked in the door the hostees just looked at us and stared, didn’t say a thing to us. to the way over dressed ceasar salad, to the entirely over seasoned pasta dishes and totally filthy cooks line. it is no wonder there were only three tables in there on what should have been a busy friday night! only good thing i can say is our server was nice and the pasta noodles were actualy cooked correctly.the rest was a waste of 70.00 never going back there again. Total waste of money!!!
